‘Show people why you play’: Payton Tolle keeps his late mother’s memory close as he takes the mound - The Boston Globe

Jina Tolle died in 2024, eight years after being diagnosed with colon cancer. Saturday marks the the first time Tolle will start on May 9, a day before Mother's Day.
